well i have time to install the new jet and the new filter but.......

i was wondering one thing what is the small hose on the back of the air box that leads to the motor

what is it for and what do i do with it?

yay got my 88 jet yesterday  ;D

but its going to be a while before i can install it

right now i have 2 options

1. take a day install filter + jet and do plug chops

2. tick off the lady vying for my attention

i dont know which to choose ???

i bought 2 of these

and i just cut the hole in the latches on the boxes big enough for the lock from the hasp to fit then i bolted the lock to the box using washers to give it enough clearance so i could turn the locks

all in all it cost me about $40 (counting the cost of the boxes but not counting the paint) and took around 4 - 5 hours of work

out of pocket the hole thing cost me about $35 ($15 for the locks $20 for the paint could have gotten out cheaper but i really wanted metallic blue paint)

lids

overall I'm happy with it but i may end up painting the lids in a metallic black instead of flat

and i may add decals down the road

(p.s. the lids aren't completely dry)

yea i bought mine new i am pretty sure i only got 11 turns of the bell to one full turn of the tire
