£40 sounds fair. i may just get one. as the spair has a crack in the same place, but oposit side. then will vinyl wrap the rest of the scoot.
the seat broke off as the seat lock cable seems to short and relises the seat at will.... so need to look into that too. ;D

think ill put mine away soon too. off to work this morning and came of on ice. no snow hear in uk (midlands) but roads covered in froft and ice.
i was only doing 30 mph trying to be careful but off i came and slid down the road. it made a mess out of the agility 50, had to walk it home as it stalled on its side(flooded) luck for me i have another a50 for spairs(was going to be a project for step son). as broke the seat brake leaver mirror and floor pan and scratched the painted panels. changed the mirror and seat. so its ready for another day....................
dammmmmm that ice...........

£50,000 would be a job stopper for me, seriously!

thats not enough to suport you for 3 years....
even 500,000 would only last 30 years max. ok if invested wiseley then it may be possable to live till your old age.
if it was me though id end up spending half that in a year on a new house car bike etc. id have to open some form of bank acount for kids if anything happend to me. 3 kids so another 75k gone. id put the rest in an bank so gove dont know about it. just to grow interest.

sorry should have been more clear. only copper grease on back of pads and on slider pins. not on piston.
on the piston in the past i have used lithioum grease in past. but only a tiny amount.

just as i thought. what makes of bbk do people recomend? so many on the market. whats the best? i keep looking at the narkau 72 kit. in the uk seems a good price at £50. but last thing i want is to put as cheep polish made bbk on that will brake and wreck the engine.

strip caliper down and look at pistons etc see if they move back and forth freeley. then copper grease. i suspect one piston is not as free as the other one.

also check the disk is not warped.

General Discussion / Re: Total Frustration with Things Out of My Control

Very, very few makers/dealerss keep parts in stock locally now, i agree its crap but its all just to cut their costs/overheads. My local acoot shops dont even stock belts and rollers now which is basic maintenence stuff they should all hold really. When i ordered some new body panels after i got rear ended at a junction i had them in 48hrs over here. My dealer ordered from a supplier in England and had them sent up the day after i ordered, had i ordered before 12 lunchtime i prob wouldve had them next day. Most parts here only take 1-3 days for delivery which isnt perfec but looking at what you guys seems to experience over there its not too bad.

I now bypass tbe dealer and go direct to where they order from in England after stealing a look at the website they used when i ordered the body parts.

and where would this be? lol whats the website

Technical | How To / Re: Dragging Brake, once per rotation

i had the same problem. quick clean and grease. one of the pistons had coroded. so kept pumping the piston back and forth. still not fantastic but no sticking problems. also consider changing the brake fluid as if there is water in the fluid this is the problem.
