hi , you can buy the uxv 500 with a open heart, mine has done 10000km with no major issues , only drive belt failure at 5000km,
here in south africa the outrides we do are not for sussies , we play hard

its bullet proof my friend very reliable , i've done many mods to mine

mine only dis this at low speeds and was very irritating
fitted 2 open springs to the sliders of the pad , thus putting some pressure on the pads when not in use keeping them away from the disc ,
now nice and quite no issues any more

yip are built very well , mine has done nearly 9000km , with really no major problems,
broken a belt , rear brake pads, thats about all.
we really play hard here in RSA, and its hot .

just need bit more power

hi all,
i kept having problems with brake shutter on rear brakes, fitted a open spring to the pad slider pins , wow what an improvement ,quite at last no more shutter
