Title: Miles Per Gallon for my 2012 Agility 125
Post by: kingkymco125 on April 08, 2013, 06:15:54 PM
To keep track of fuel mileage, I have been using the website fuelly.com. Going into about four months of owning my bike, the gas mileage has improved. When I put the numbers in on fuelly.com I got 84.4 miles to the gallon. For the 1.02 gallons I fuel it with it came out to 86 miles. This was my best mpg so far. I am very happy with my bike.

Pretty soild gas mileage numbers. I have appx. 700+ miles on my 2013 Kymco Super 8 150cc & I open her up most of the time. I get appx. 78MPG to date. I have no problem with this as I leave it down in my parents home in Florida. I left her in Mid-February & I won't be back until October! The real test will be if she starts-up right away for sitting for so long (8 months) I add Startron ethonal & Seafoam fuel treatment with every fill-up, then I use Lucas fuel treatment & add a touch of Octane booster before I leave (I use 93 Octane fuel with every fill-up) I also leave the Super 8 on a float charge via a Deltran Battery Tender Jr. tender. My bet is she'll start-up right away!

Ive got a Puig Touring wind screen and Shad 29 top case and my best so far has been 85MPG.  Ive been using regular ever since I got it and I just read in the manual it says to use 92.  I hope I see better performance and fuel economy on my next tank of gas.

I hope you don't have ethanol in your Super 8 Sir... phase separation and water contamination of ethanol happens in just 90 days.

Vivo: Yes...In Florida there is ethanol in the gasoline. No worries my friend as I use StarTron ethanol fuel treatment in every single tank I use. This product is amazing! I've been using it for years now. I use to have a Kymco People S200 (carb) & would store it in my shed for the long New England Winters (6-7 months) Every time I cranked over the engine, it would start within 3 pulls.

I ride hard. I would say my mpg might be 70mpg, tops. or even 65mpg. idk but it goes long before 86 miles, that for sure

Then again I rarely pour in more then a gallon. in fact less, i mean. Maybe I should do that fuelly thing?

Every time I hit the station I take a cellphone photo of my odometer and the tank reading, then I drop those two numbers into Excel to track my MPG.

So far after about 2,000 Km I'm averaging around 80 MPG on an Agility 125

Are you relying on the speedo to be accurate, or have you corrected for that with a gps?

when I ride my wife's 125,   my fat ass can't get any more than 60-70 mpg. lol.  My wife gets 90 to 100 nearly every time.
