Title: 2006 Grandvieta 250 died
Post by: doodlewashere on August 22, 2018, 04:56:54 PM
So I was riding it on the freeway trying to see how fast it could go, when I first got a problem. It was bogging down on me when going at full throttle. Got off the freeway ran fine in the 50 mph range. Got back on the freeway to see if it did the same thing. This time she just died about 5 miles in. >:(   Walked it home and opened it up. I gave the carb a quick cleaning hoping that was the problem. I checked the spark plug and it is sparking. I replaced the fuel pump. I am still not able to get her to start. If I use a starter spray I can get a short turn over then it dies again. If anyone has any info on what it might be it would be greatly appreciated.

I had bought the scooter to put in the back of my van for in town travels to save on gas, but she died. I wanted to take her all over but now she's sitting sad in a garage in need of love.
