Any help for me on this scooter? It's my daughters and she needs it for school. It crapped out yesterday and the first thing I did was gave it a shot of ether and got nothing. So I pulled the plug to check for spark. Nothing. I put a new plug just to be sure and nothing. I checked the 2 fuses that are by the battery, but they seem to be good.

Deficient trigger/pickup/pulsar coil (https://www.google.com/search?q=agility+125+test+trigger+coil+site:www.kymcoforum.com&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwii08P1quPZAhUP_1QKHdolDocQrQIISygDMAM&biw=1097&bih=531)?

Excellent. Thank you. I'll check that out. :)

Run/stop switch in run position?
-
No. It's kinda worn, but, I tried it in both positions.

Ok I checked out the numbers and here is what I got.
Key off:
Blue/yellow 1.3 ohms
yellow .7 ohms
white .8 ohms
Key on:
Blue/yellow 104.4 ohms
Yellow 18.8 ohms
White 17.3 ohms
Turning the engine over:
Blue yellow Zero ohms (or wasn't enough to register on my meter) .017 volts
Yellow 0 ohms 0.8 volts
White 0 ohms 0.8 volts
I don't know what all that means, but it looks like the Y and W don't have the volts when cranking the engine. I hope someone can help. :D

Can you try another known good 12v battery? (Not the car battery with car running!!)
Unthread spark plug cap, trim 1/4" off wire end, screw cap back on.

I did that to the plug wire already on advice from a friend. The battery is fairly new and still has a charge after charging it at least 2 weeks ago. But, I can try another, but it seems not necessary.
Thank you!

You did well on the plug wire. The battery, however, needs some clarification. What does holding a charge mean in actual numbers?

It's been holding a charge meaning that I can at anytime crank the engine over. It sounds like it's cranking at a normal speed. But, maybe later today I'll check it with a volt meter. Should I check it not cranking and while cranking?
Thank you C.B

Yes, both ways. That will give a no load and full load voltages which will be helpful.

Well, I went out and checked the voltage on the battery with the key off and it was 12.5 volts. So, I hit the starter.....and the damn thing started! :o
Idk if when I was pulling on the wires that come out of the engine that something was loose or maybe it was the plug wire and I didn't check well enough after I cut it. Damned if I know. I took it for a ride and it runs fine.
Thanks for you help! ;D
