Title: Selling 2004 Kymco Super 9 AC - Need some advice
Post by: Steve4ustin on January 13, 2018, 04:20:43 PM
Hey everyone,

I purchased this 2004 Kymco Super 9 new in 2005. There was a recall on some engine component back then, I can't seem to recall what it was, but I had that taken care of just after I purchased it. I put 2041 km on it and then it's just sat in the garage ever since. So on one hand, it's never been dropped and is in perfect cosmetic condition, on the other hand, I'm sure the fluids have gummed everything up from sitting for so long.

Since I no longer ride it, I'm interested in selling it, but I'm not sure if it's better to spend the money to get it into operating condition again, or sell it to someone who understands how to rehab a Super 9 that's just sat for so long.

I still have the title, keys and everything that came with it, just not sure how to list or price something like this. I'm also not sure the best place to list this either.

Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

It will bfing a lot more if it operates normally. I would give less than $100.00 for the way it is now just because of the unknowns regardless of appearance. Way less if all scuffed up.

Thanks for the response Crossbolt. Kinda what I was thinking the reality was going to be.

I guess it's time to find out if there is a good shop here in Austin to get this back on its feet.
