Title: Agility 50 start problem
Post by: Pinchy1111 on September 14, 2017, 01:04:04 AM
Hi everyone this is my first post here.
Ive had my kymco about 3 months and it was going great but one the electric start stopped working.
I bought a new solenoid still nothing. I took the starter motor off and tested it with a battery and that worked. So wjat other possibilities are there? Ive put a multimeter on my battery terminals and it seems to shows its charged and putting out enough. Anyone recommend anything would be great. Thanks!!

How old is the battery?  Have it load tested.  Is there a relay between the starter switch and the solenoid?  Can you do a test by-passing the starter switch and going directly from the battery to the solenoid?

eamartin & Jp6940 have the right approach.  The culprit is likely in the wiring, maybe so obvious as the positive wire to the starter.
