Title: Having issue when Kymco ZX50 2005 Starting when hot
Post by: KymcoSuperFever on August 11, 2017, 11:13:20 PM
Finally was able to change off the spark plug, and machine is running great. When I go out to started every day starts right up. But after I run it for 15 minutes, go into store, come out, it takes forever to start up again. Just keeps turning over and over and over any ideas why? You guys are the experts. Thanks in advance!  8)

Whats the ambient temperature? My best guess would be a fuel issue. When you start it cold the bystarter (choke) supplies more fuel for easy start up. After things are warmed up, the bystarter is not supplying the extra fuel, making it harder to start. Do you have the stock airbox and muffler? Have you checked for vaccuum leaks? Has the carburetur jets been cleaned? Thats the first things I would check. Im no expert, but there are certainly experts on this forum. Hopefully they can give some more insight.
