Post by: carmen007 on August 02, 2017, 06:17:40 PM
Has any one used a towing hitch on the scoot.

I saw this one thinking about getting it, No place to put a trailer where i live.

I would be real concerned about hitting a pothole at highway speed and the scooter may start bouncing back there.

Have used one of those on 2 occasions. Keep the speed down and be mindful of rear bodywork/fender clearance with the road. It may look ok at a standstill but get up on the bike and bounce it up and down to see if anything hits or scrapes. Another handy item is the Canyon Dancer handlebar tiedown. So easy to hook up, is so secure, and there are no hooks to mar the handlebars or slip.
