If I cut the wire in the CDI to remove the restriction, but don't do anything else, how much faster can I expect to go? This is a 2015 KYMCO Agility. Thank you.

About 10% faster. Be prepared to run at some high rev`s whilst not really going that fast. Better start with getting a smooth drive boss, more result and less strain on the engine. (And your wallet, and the enviroment.)
-
Lastly, after 2013, is there a restriction in CDI ?
-
My 2015 Super 8 based on the Agility platform took me from 28 to 33-35 after pulling the purple/red wire.
-
After a thorough check, I found that my CDI was first cut at the back and then cut the purple cable, so I really do not have a limiter
-
Over the years there have been several forum mentions the Kymco OEM CDI fully limited maxes RPMs at ~7500. With the purple wire cut it is still limited ~9K RPM. This is a good thing for the longevity of a scooter, if true. I don't have an RPM gauge to test and have no hills to try to test the claim.
-
Can`t confirm the 7.5K OEM RPM limit as I didn`t have my rpm meter when I still had it limited :p Sounds legit though. With it de-restricted it seems to be limited at around 9.2K RPMS.

Are the wires exposed or do you have to hack in with a saw? If so, what part of the box do I hack? I have 2014 ag50

dude...
No need to hack the box. Just remove the purple wire from the wire harness and cover with electrical tape. So you can put it back if you ever get a unrestricted CDI
