Here is a video of their AK 550

Looks like a technical, fast machine. I love the english in the video. I have never heard of a charismatic scooter! Should I give it money? ;D ;D ;D
-
Don't know if one will come over here but would love to see it. What do you think about the horizontal rear suspension.
-
This thing is going after the Tmax 530 in a big way! Spec's look mostly superior.
-
Real pretty. Looks real expensive too.
-
I want one!! but not at 10k. Maybe a used one 6 years from now LOL.
-
Almost the same price as the Yamaha TMAX...
-
Looks awesome and they're finally doing better on scooter names too.

Kymco USA says "NO", it will not becoming here, in 2017 or 2018. I messaged them for info.

To bad so sad.
I'll be buying big so I guess I'll see what Honda does with its ADV or maybe the Tmax.

$12K in Australia, cheaper than a TMAX ($15K).

Way too expensive for me. I am waiting to have a look at the new Xmax 300 which should be in the dealers soon. Was told by an Adelaide dealer that they were expected to be around $7k on road. https://www.yamaha-motor.com.au/products/motorcycle/road/scooter/xmax%20300#gallery (https://www.yamaha-motor.com.au/products/motorcycle/road/scooter/xmax%20300#gallery)

Guess I am old school. Too flashy, especially the panel. I like easy to read, simple guages. This looks like the panel styling exercises of 'Merican cars of the '60's! The link to the phone and the nav capability sounds good IF you can see the thing in daylight! The engine, CVT cutaway looks promising. Does it have a more than marginal starting system? Does the electrical have enough reserve to power a heated suit, gloves and shoes/boots? Does it have a headlight system that LIGHTS UP THE ROAD equal to its speed and maneuvering capability? Does it have a rectifier-regulator that won't destroy the stator when it self-destructs?

Looks decent, about time they brought it to Aus.
Also looking forward to the new Burgman 400. Almost nothing in the 400cc segment now.

If I were to buy another scooter, that would be the one. I still like my Downtown 300 and I recently bought a Honda CTX700 with a dual clutch transmission. It looks like a motorcycle but it’s easier to ride than the DT. The power and handling are awesome
