I carry a small Panasonic camera sometimes....but this was with a not very expensive Samsung cell phone (which I carry all the time in jacket pocket (in plastic zip-bag if raining))

I don't tuck them away under the seat or in the top case.....in case I come upon some deer, or that albino skunk again! And many of these sun rises last only bare minutes.
Using various settings that even simple cameras have these days you can get some neat scooter photos.

God forbid you every take a fall, but if you were the phone could be damaged and you could be injured by the debris. Also, you may not be able to call for help if your out riding solo and you fall. I carry mine in the glove box or under the seat. YMMV :)

You can't even hear them coming, they are so quiet and at night most people drive with the lights off, as not to drain the battery, I'm guessing. To me that is a recipe for Disaster!!!!! Plus, they'll rent them to anyone. I saw a few people, who should have never been allowed to be on one
