New owner of a 2013 Super 8, 50cc 2T. (used to have a People 50).
There's a threaded boss on the stock exhaust pipe, just upstream of the muffler. There was nothing blocking the hole when I got the bike, and in the short time I've ridden it, it doesn't seem to matter if I leave it open or plug it with a bolt.
Any idea why it's there, and more importantly, plug it or leave it open?
thanks.

Lol zombie.... I've yet to figure out why Kymco put that hole on there. But its supposed to have an 8mm bolt covering it. I would block it so you don't have an exhaust leak.

Welcome to the forum.
seemed an honest, straight forward question, thx to the other fellow who took the time to actually help me out

You had to bee here a few years ago to know why that was funny.
Generally speaking most holes have an obvious purpose. The ones that don't are just taking up space!

Is it a drain for condensation? If it has threads I would assume a bolt is supposed to be in there. Look up an exploded parts view on kymco's site.

There is a bolt, and copper washer that belong it it. I just have excess time on my hands.
