Title: Fuel Leaks in a LIKE 200i LX
Post by: Stig / Major Tom on August 29, 2013, 09:29:50 PM
Well, not really.
But have noticed that my fuel,Tim Horton's,  paper coffee cups leak in the top trunk of my LIKE before I can quite get down to the reservoir.
I solved this by having them 'double cup' my coffee.
Must report this to T Horton HQ, ASAP.
Sorry, still cannot find a problem with QC of my LIKE.

Two things. First I saw some one attach a cup holder to the base of the scoot by the vin number plate and second I got a nice metal 12 oz thermos from a thrift store for $2. It seals tight. I use it for water on the weekend rides. You and the scoot need your fuel. LOL!

I second using a "locking" travel coffee cup http://teaembassy.com/index.php/liquiseal-oxo-stainless-travel-mug.html (http://teaembassy.com/index.php/liquiseal-oxo-stainless-travel-mug.html).

The best thing my girlfriend ever got me is this cup holder, it has a loop on the back that hangs on the Like hook, and a velcro patch that keeps the bottom anchored to the glove box. It holds a travel mug or bottled water perfectly and has a draw string to keep it snug. There's NOTHING like sipping on a hot coffee at a red light on a cold morning.  http://www.amazon.com/ScootR-Logic-SLDH-1-Drink-Holder/dp/B0022UOSMC (http://www.amazon.com/ScootR-Logic-SLDH-1-Drink-Holder/dp/B0022UOSMC)
