Hi All.
I have a 2012 Yager 200i that won't start.
I know that I have a dead battery but.....
Tried yesterday to jump it with a car battery (extra, not installed in car) and got it ot at least turn over a few times. Never got it to start.
Tried again this morning, and can't even get it to turn over.
I have it on the center stand, so not a side stand issue.
I checked all of the fuses, all good.
Ideas, suggestions?
Thanks

Kill switch position?

Nope, I wish it were as simple as the kill switch.
Thanks for the reminder though.

Does it go through its "self-test" routine when you turn the key on? You know, tach runs to max and back to zero, LCD panel shows all characters then shows fuel and "0" and so on. Lights come on?

Karl.
Only when I have it hooked to a 2nd battery.

Get a new battery!

That was kind of a smart-assed answer, Ed, so I apologize. However, if the panel goes through its routine and the headlight comes on, the engine should revolve with the starter and should start. You undoubtedly know all this so the next is what does it do or not do after all that.

1. replace the battery as you stated it is dead. Then try to start it. Be sure the kick stand is up and the kill switch is on.
2. report back any issues.
