A dealer in the Phoenix area, who primarily sells KTMs & Husqvarnas, in addition to side by sides and is focused on the OHV market, tried Kymco scooters and just didn't do well with them. They were closing out the line and I noticed their add on Craig's List. Last Thursday I picked up a demo '12 GTi300 with 851 miles for $2995 OTD. This included sales tax, license, docs & destination. It looked completely new with not a scuff or scratch. Sold as new with the 2 year warranty.
I requested the dealer do the 600 mile service on it, but they wouldn't since they claim to be loosing money on it. So I bought it and immediately changed the engine oil & filter, rear drive gear oil, cleaned out the oil screen (there was nothing in there) and checked the filter and coolant levels. Will be putting in a NGK CR7EIX spark plug as soon as I can get one.
I got real close to buying one of these two years ago, in fact I test rode this very same unit, but just couldn't pull the trigger. But with this down and dirty price I just could not resist. Wow, what a fantastic machine! As many others have mentioned the fit & finish is as good as I've seen. A little vibey at idle, but other than that it is superb!

Nice. You got quite a discount for only 850 miles! I picked up my new 2012 GT300i earlier this month for $3935 OTD from Heinen's Motorsports in Osseo MN.
