Title: curious about whether warranty will cover this or not

went for a ride today and noticed the wind break which is plastic and some how bolted to the front is broken on the left
side.. clearly it has just given way.. the bike was left alone in a parking lot but no one messed with it
do you think my dealer will replace this or will I have to pay to fix it myself?
pretty sure it was from the wind today as I rode..

It should be fixed under warranty if its a defect.

The only sure way to know is to take it to the dealer and see what they say.  Another option is to call Kymco and ask them to see if it's covered under warranty.

I had a warped brake disc and Kymco replaced it under warranty.

Look all around your bike for scuffs. I know my bike was knocked over and I didn't realize it until later that day. My mirror was loose and there were tell tale scuffs that my bike got backed into.

But if it looks like it fatigued and cracked in just one spot, then go see the dealer.
