Title: 2008 Super 9 Things to look for ??

Hi Guys
first post
I have an aero 80 at the moment, that i want to tear down and rebuild into my sleeper
so am looking for a good fun daily driver

I am going to look at a 2008 Super 9 tonight
being in canada i assume it is the LC

Can you folks give me some pointers as to things to watch for and check with this scooter ?
I have heard REALLY good things about them, just want to know what to check when i see it tonight

See if the water pump is weeping coolant. It's the big round cover on the right hand side of the engine. If it is, it might be pump bearing replacement time.

Pump the tires up and make sure it runs strongly. I think the exhaust eventually wears out, and the bike becomes down on power. See if the tires are in good shape. Watch for rot. See if the electric start works well when the bike is cold.

I only test rode one Super 9 LC, so there's not a whole lot I can tell you.

i believe it got a new motor 2 years ago, but i'll be checking these things anyway

So it's the AC not the LC
has no Tach ?
really nice scoot all around
her and i agreed on a decent price, more than i can afford, but what it's worth
go pick it up saturday !

soon i'll be on here looking how to derestrict it !!

I believe AC has rear drum brake and no tach. Did you test ride the bike to make sure it runs strongly?

i did get the bike
It runs very strong (70Km no prob)
needs a battery recharge
had to replace one bulb, other than that its been great

now to find the battery.....

am i able to replace my dash with the one with the tach ?
is the wiring there ?
I'm hoping it's possible and just Plug n' Play
