Hi Everyone,
I found a product that acts like Rain X that you can use on your visor or on your windshield if you ride in the rain. It is called Raincoat and it is made by Moto-Solutions. The water beads up and disperses like Rain X
I have been using Raincoat since June. FYI: I ride everyday including rainy days. My Downtown is my primary mode of transportation. My meaningful work requires me to travel throughout the Fort Worth- Dallas TX area.
A couple of weeks ago when it was raining, I forgot to use Raincoat on Monday. The rain was streaking down my helmet. On Tuesday before I left for Wylie TX (42 miles away), I used Raincoat. It started to rain when I was on Hwy121 Tollway (Lewisville,TX). I could not tell if the rain was hitting my visor but I could feel it on my hands and arms and saw the rain hitting my windshield.
So give it a try and see what happens.
Have fun riding

2nd that idea!
After a near disastrous night-rain ride I knew I had to find something! (ended up riding to work with face shield up and glasses in my pocket!)
Raincoat works pretty good, and have been using DEFOGIT for the inside of the face shield.
Must remember to apply it fairly often for best results.
(my scoot is my main mode of transport, as well, so one has to take the necessary steps....)
