How about an update on your situation.
We are concerned.

Scoot is likely totaled, their insurance adjuster hasn't said yet. I have seen pics and it looks toasted. Not much on it is not broken or damaged. As for me, broken collar bone, broken shoulder blade, banged up ribs and left leg and something wrong with right shoulder. More doctor appointments scheduled, still assessing some of the injuries. Slow, slow, OH SO SLOW healing process and quite painful. I have improved a little but still have a long way to go. Thanks for asking about me.

Sorry to hear your recovery is a slow painful process. I hope it gets better soon and you can get past this and get on with your life. Keep your spirits high.

We're thinking about you Sonic!

Well, I guess it turns out that it was a good thing that I got hit by a truck. At the ER, they did a CT scan to look for trauma injuries and found abnormalities in my thyroid. Had an ultrasound done and they wanted to do an immediate needle biopsy. Got the call today and it is cancer. I would have never known had I not had this accident.

Holy cow! Talk about good news bad news. You know what they say about what to do when life gives you lemons. Enjoy the lemonade!
Be well... Len

Weird how that happens sometimes, Six. A few years ago, a friend of mine was in an accident. When examined at the hospital, they found an aneurism in his stomach that was about to burst. It would have killed him in about 2-3 minutes and they would never found it except for the accident. Not that getting cancer is good, but knowing about it and being able to treat it is better than dying from it. Stay strong and best of luck.
