Title: People 50 @ Super 8 150

Hello all, does any one know if a 2003 people 50 2t will run without a battery?  How about a 2009 super 8 150? 

Im looking at buying one of these both have a few problems... ;)

My 2011 Kymco Super 8 2t will not kick start without a charged battery.  I can crank it up and then take the negative lead off the battery and it shuts down.

Because you have a DC fired cdi...
