Pulled out of work this afternoon. Within 100 yards found myself in a major hot summer day downpoor.
Thinking quickly...of the recent experiences of fellow scooterists...instead of taking the long way home in this deluge, I reluctantly turned left and took the 3 mile way home. Bummer. Both ways would get me soaked - but one way quickly gets me off the streets and out of traffic in a big rain.
Rain gear? Yep, Under the seat along with more spare Kymco parts than my dealer has......
Ever since my extended visit to sunny southeast Asia - in the late 60's for a big clambake in the Central Highlands with some young mates - I have no aversion to getting soaked in big rains. See, I'm already dry as I write this. (put your cell phone and wallet in the top box if it looks like rain)
This guy in Bogota looks like he's having too much fun!)
