Last night I was laying in bed thinking about my upcoming oil changes.....and all those photos I've seen in scooter books of the mechanic using a big syringe to accurately put in the new engine and gear oils....
And had a Premium Senior Moment (a time when your yrs of experience does finally count for something!) So, today I went by the local Tractor Supply store (neat place - all kinds of farming stuff)
....and sure enough, there in the section with supplies for injecting something important (I'm sure) into your cows, was just what I had been searching all these weeks for : A BigDamCow syringe! (not it's real name)
The salesman didn't ask what I wanted it for, so, I told him - just in case another scooter owner drives down this country highway and wanders into his Tractor Store after reading the Haynes Scooter manual. It could happen. Anyway, I got out of there without getting roughed up by these friendly folks - grinning all the way to my Scion xB with a pair of neat BigDamCow syringes~!
You folks living in NYC - might try Macy's (now that you know what to ask for....a "BDC Syringe")
Photos tomorrow...........

I use.something similar that I found at walmart. makes life so much easier!!! certain things, like gear oil, are no longer a pain in the rear.

I've been using one since I bought my scooter. Got it at a pharmacy... large feeding syringe. Cheap and effective.

I tried Walmart and my local pharmacies - no joy anywhere in town until I thought of the Tractor Store.
