Went for a long ride with the club tonight and because I wore my half helmet. I had to wash so many bugs off my face when I got home it was grazy. looked like I hand the chicken box.

Full wind screen, never had a bug problem.

I have a modular helmet so no bugs on my face. It is bad enough when a 1 inch (2.54cm) beetle slams into my knuckles or shoulder at 55 MPH (88 kmh). I had a giant butterfly splatter right in the middle of my visor once. It was such a big splatter that I had to pull over to clean the visor off to be able to see. That would have hurt and been really nasty had I been wearing an open face helmet.

I have to watch out for coconuts too... :o

we just watch for the nuts behind the wheel

Full face is the way to go. Bugs, rain, and asphalt hurt my face.

Yes, well, made a big mistake buying this fullface helmet on-line, sight-unseen.
As Col. Hal Moore once said: "It's getting pretty sporting down here!" trying to see 'em coming at you.
