Title: What size are the stock rollers?
Post by: 91cavgt on June 18, 2013, 05:18:33 PM
Does anyone know what size the stock rollers are?  I do not have a scale in order to take them out and weigh them, and I am hoping someone around here has already taken them out and weighed them.  I want to get some sliders to replace the rollers but I want to see if I can add a bit of top end speed at the sacrifice of some of the acceleration.

I think Stig might know. If he doesn't post here, pm him and ask.

Take out your rollers, and take them to your local Post Office. They will probably put one on their scale and weigh it for you.

18x14 13.5 grams.  It is posted somewhere on the forum.  I bought 18x14 14 grams Dr. Pulleys and they fit fine. The grams are the weight (obviously) the "18x14" is the size.

Lighter weights make for quicker take offs but cut back on top end...heavier weights= slightly slower take off but slightly higher top end.

Stock rollers are perfect... experimenting with different weights is fun tho...
