Hello, just purchased a manual for the LIKE 200i..
The cover removal instructions include a photo and directions to use 2 pry points to help free the belt case cover from the crankcase.
They are in the upper right and upper left of the case, near bolt holes.
A small tab on the cover to use as a pry point.

Hey Stig where did you buy the manual? I've been waiting for Cyclepedia to release their manual on the Like. They keep telling me its soon.

Here is an online version of the service manual for the Like 200i...

Thanks Stig. If it ever stops raining in Ottawa I will do the video. Otherwise the video will be how to convert a retro style scooter into a speed boat.
Or maybe I'll finally buy a soft shed for the back yard and work while it rains. Im in a townhouse and we don't have a garage, but the yard is plenty big for some kind of collapseable work shed.

Do you need help moving the couch?
Fellow scooter owners will help, so you can get back to work on your LIKE videos~!
So, we have to remove another body panel ( a second one).
Maybe just get one end loose to wiggle the cover out?
Kriden is getting me sold on replacing the rollers with Dr Pulley 'sliders' when I get the cover off, but first have to get that hold-down tool or buy a cheap electric impact wrench to get the nut off. Some folks say not to use Kevlar belt ( a racing item) but Kriden seems to like them. So ??
Bad news is there are a few more things to fiddle with on a new scooter - the good news is there are a few more things, etc.~!

I just use a belt wrench to hold the variator. It works for the Clutch too!
Kevlar belts don't stretch, they just explode! It is unclear if this is at the
end of their lifespan or sometime before? The Vespa guys swear the OEM
Vespa belts are kevlar and they're the best in the world!?! They say don't
buy aftermarket Kevlar belts because they're junk!?! They're probably made
by the same company.
My take is that the kevlar will make the belt last longer and maybe pull harder
but it will eat into your pulley faces and you'll need more parts at replacement time...
