Title: Damn Hills!
Post by: Jarek on July 18, 2009, 03:11:31 AM
Okay so i have a 2002 Zx 50 Super fever unrestriceted, performance pipe, kevlar belt, racing variator with 6.5 gram rollers. on the flat i can reach between 50-55 but once i start up hills itl slow down to like 30 and even 25! Im try to figure out what would be the beat way to maybe get a tad bit more ummff without havn to purchase a big bore kit. Any ideas? :-\

Wow, those must be some big hills!  My zx50 would slow to about 35mph at the most about the steepest hill around here, which is actually a bridge, when it was stock!  It sounds like you have done about all you can do though without doing the big bore.  I think about the only thing left would be the carb.  You might be able to upjet the stock carb.  I never tried on mine.  I just did the big bore and a 19mm carb!  It doesn't even notice hills now!

Did any of you guys who like to get the most out of 50 cc 4stroke consider installing NOS? :)

A friend of mine had it on his Malaguti 200 4stroke.
