Title: CVT Belt for the 500???

OK, odd question.  What size CVT belt does the 08 or 09 Xciting 500 take?  I've a Malossi belt still in the package that I am thinking of reselling at 1/2 of what I paid for it.  BUT if it will fit on the 500 I would be stupid to get rid of it.

Anyone?

Well the width is 28.9 according to the service manual...

How long is the CVT belt supposed to last on the 2009 XC 500ri?  I had a XC250 before and replaced the belt at 7500 miles. I have about 13900 miles on bike now.

I don't know, I use a "gates" belt. It runs very well

Well it's Malossi 6113395 and measures 1025mm, w 27.6mm, h 14.8mm, 30°
according to a few WEB sites...
