Title: Tire Pressure for Like 200

Has any one run air pressure higher or lower ? When I picked up like200 it had 37 lbs in the front an rear tire the manual has 25 in the front an 29/32 in the back

Since I ride solo I use the recommended 25 front, 29 rear. I add more air when riding 2-up.

Picked up my Like today after they installed the pair of Michelin City Grips ($153 installation fee) --- darned if they didn't give me too much air again. 37 front & rear. Nearly chipped a tooth on the ride home. Put them back down to 25 and 29 (when they cooled) MUCH improved ride quality! The Like has little enough suspension travel without driving on rocks!

(compared notes with 2 other bike riders in the service waiting area - all 3 of us were getting tires put on - but one guy bought his tires there - sure is a lot cheaper to get your tires on-line than at this dealer.) I paid $109 for the set of Michelins delivered to my door in 4 days. Dealer parts desk quoted me $400 > $450 for the tires and install if I bought them there. I paid a total of $262.

I wonder if tires could be installed without going to a shop. With 12" wheels and 55ish mph top speed, do they even bother to balance these. I don't recall seeing weights on the wheels.

They balanced my Michelins yesterday. Yes, the tire installation was not cheap - but these autoscoots are not as simple as manual shift scooters with simple one-sided bolt-ons. Our forks complicate the issue - esp. at the rear. Dealer calls for 1.5 hrs of shop time, with their tools and racks.

Yes. REALLY big motorcycle dealer that sells a few scooters (Kymco, Honda, Yamaha and some used scoots  - looked at a nice Aprilia Scarabeo (that big large bodied/wheeled scooter) and they still have that superb (7 miles) wine red  Yamaha VINO 125 (2009) sitting there for $2200 -whatta seat that has ---and the chromeand paint ! Plus the handlebars are above my knees!)

  to save a few bucks I remove the tires and have them mounted,.  pick a rainy day,.
