Title: air filiter hole

On my air filiter there is a small rubber thing covering a hole the rubber thing fell of today while riding exposing the hole and obviously i could not find it should i worrie about this or will it be ok........

I would say that "rubber thing" connects two "somethings".
If nothing else, you`d want to replace it in order to prevent dust, false air leaks and water entering those two "somethings".
