Good Day All!
The battery in my Yager can no longer hold any juice. I have to replace it.
Has anyone had to replace their battery? If so, which kind did you buy? I know the battery says gt12a-bs, but how does that translate over to another battery? I'm not even close to mechanical, so I'm unfamiliar with batteries; however, I've seen a couple on Amazon when I search purely for GT12a-BS:
http://www.amazon.com/Yuasa-YUAM6212B-YT12B-BS-Battery/dp/B003CKFP5K/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1368824938&sr=1-2&keywords=gt12a-bs (http://www.amazon.com/Yuasa-YUAM6212B-YT12B-BS-Battery/dp/B003CKFP5K/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1368824938&sr=1-2&keywords=gt12a-bs)
and
http://www.amazon.com/YUASA-YTX14-BS-Maintenance-Free-Battery/dp/B000WJX4BQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1368824938&sr=1-3&keywords=gt12a-bs (http://www.amazon.com/YUASA-YTX14-BS-Maintenance-Free-Battery/dp/B000WJX4BQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1368824938&sr=1-3&keywords=gt12a-bs)
Would either of these work as a quality replacement to my non-quality, stock battery? ;D
Thank you for any and all replies!
Happy riding!

Yuasa is the standard. I would go with it. I like Scorpion batteries as well, but seems like there's is only a few bucks cheaper here:

Well this Scorpion is closer and has 1/2 amp more capacity at 10AH.

I wonder when they started cheating on the specs? It used to be a
GT12A-BS was 12 AH...

MotoRandy: Good eye brother! I just did a quick copy & paste of his Yuasa SKU# Scorpion batteries are excellent & they are reasonable price wise. I had one in my TGB Key West & it lasted 5+ years after I sold her.

I did inquire about a warranty on my battery as it says 1 yr on website but the Z marketing company sells them cheap on ebay and give NO warranty. Buyer be aware when buying if it has a warranty of not.
Buying a Yuasa or Motobatt next time around!

I've given up using junk Chinese (ebay brand, Scorpion etc.) as I've now had problems with those in other machines too.
I will still use Motobatt AGM in a pinch and Deka AGM for sure (when the size is available) , but after talking with alot of techs Yuasa AGM is THE only way to go given the option.
Yuasa YT12a-BS is by far the best battery for this scoot.
Amazon says it does not fit but it will
