Title: Idles a bit. Dies when any throttle given
Post by: TheMadProfessor on May 06, 2013, 12:43:09 AM
The scooter was running great for the longest time and I put a bit of sea foam into the fuel. Recently try to start and it will idle for a few seconds then die. I did get it to idle for a few minutes but at the slightest twist of the throttle it dies.

I have cleaned the carb and exactly the same result.

Any thoughts?

I know how, but I won't suggest you experiment with your carb without some minimal experience on tuning/adjusting your carb...   All I can say is that you have air and fuel adjusting screws at your carb's side...

Sounds like an air leak into the manifold after the carb...
