I'm looking to shut off my headlights during the day. How can I re-wire this so that my daylights stay off?
Thanks
-
Are you sure you want to do that ?
I'm a believer in "being seen" and that light is a huge help.

I'm with AMAC on this one. It's a safety feature. Us scooter riders are already hard to see because our mode of transport is small, and cagers depth perception can be off due to this. Your headlight provides more visibility.
However, if it's what you want to do, I'm sure someone on here can help you.

Hi guys, yeah it's definately what I wanna do. I live in the islands of the caribbean and it's no big need for them. Looks a little silly during a sunny day. People often shout out to me "your lights are on idiot!" LOL
-
If I was in the carrabean riding a scooter, I definitly would have lights on, and most likely flashing ,. unless the driving has improved a lot in the last 20 years,.!!!
-
LMAO. Yeah that's true. And no the driving has not improved. I just like the idea of having the LED parking lights on just after sunset and the headlights off. Headlights are for night time!
Open to hear any technical suggestions that any of you mechanics or kymco guru's have.
Thanks

Do you have this headlight switch?

Which wire do I snip? :o LOL I managed to find the correct relay. The one on the far right is headlight relay.

So, if you have a headlight switch, how come your headlight is always on... what's the purpose of the switch...?
-
I guess all the models have a switch. But in the USA I believe it's mandatory for daylights to be on all the time.
