Royal Purple 10w30. expensive, but good.  check it out online.

I have a Super 8 but I also use 15w-40 Rotella just like MotoRandy... It's the oil used by diesel fleets... high detergent and high resistance to heat and stress...  If it can protect an 18 wheeler truck, more so a scooter...

mrjlube:  Popular brands are good brands..don't worry much about the brand...

Synthetic or Mineral - Synthetic is more expensive and longer lasting. Mineral is pocket friendly.... ;)

Oil viscosity - low viscosity oils (5w-30, 10w-30, etc.) are best for cold climates while higher ones (20w-40, 20w50, etc.)  for hotter climates....

Now, you can narrow down your choices...

im having full syntetic oil from MOTUL
very good brand but i didnt get any performance as i excepted
and i think that's why i have 50cc and not 500cc :p
Buy something expensive its a kymco dont save from something that saves your moto life !

I'm not entirely sure what brand my dealer uses.  Since it's changed about every 2000 miles, I don't worry about using a synthetic (which from the price, I don't think they're using).  In my opinion, if you change the oil as often as I do, then the extra cost of the synthetic seems unwarranted.

Real synthetic will keep your motor cooler and cleaner but it's tough to find
real synthetic in the US anymore. The government allows cracked dino to be
called synthetic and as it's 1/4 the price most company's are selling that
instead of PAO..

Yes, and they call them "synthetics"... Is there any violation in the consumer acts there? PAOs are real synthetics and you are just fooling consumers by calling them cracked minerals as synthetics... tsk, tsk....

For what it's worth, Group III super-refined oils can offer excellent protection while remaining fuel efficient and high performance. Some oils have small amounts of Group IV PAO blended in to make it stronger and longer lasting.

I am a full synth guy.  The rule of thumb I have always followed is 1000 miles per quart.  2.5 quarts every 2.5 thousand miles even with full synth. 

Little motors need a little more care you can go longer but risk the longevity of the engine.

That's very true... but why call cracked mineral "synthetics"? Just tell consumers these are "Super Refined Mineral Oils"  .... marketing hype?...  It's ok for people like you and I who understand these things but for an ordinary person... it's misleading...
