Vespa is coming out with it next scooter. The 946 will be available in Europe this June and being released into the U.S. this November. The MSRP on this is $10,000. We do not know how many ccs are on this bike. For 10k, it better be at least 600ccs and higher. Go to www.scooterfile.com (http://www.scooterfile.com) for more information.
Kymco bikes are up there with Vespa. At least Kymco has their own distribution network in each country it serves unlike Vespa. I am just saying here. I love the Vespa bikes.

Thanks Vivo. For $10,000 I could buy a decent used truck and car:even a decent new car. I know it is a limited edition model, but really, this much for a 125cc? That is not even worth it. I could buy myself 2 Downtown 300cc kymcos for this much. Its Vespa, which means all the diehard Vespa people will buy it because of the brand. :o

$10,000 grand is almost half a million Philippine Pesos... Well, people buy mansions, boats, planes, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Rolexes, etc. what's 10 grand for a scooter? My brother's mountain bike costs $6,000 and that's just a freakin' bicycle... my two cents...

Ive been eyeing these up since i first saw the concept one a few yrs ago, they look amazing but they go on sale here for £7000 so no way i would pay that for a scoot. Dont know how many will be made in the limited run but they will become collector items for sure so you probably find if you did buy one it would hold its price or gain in value if you keep it nice.
I already own a classic Vespa but i would not buy a new one these days, the build quality on the new PX models is terrible and i hear nothing but complaints from folk who bought one, oil leak, rust issues and running problems are very common it seems. A lot of folk also complain they had a lot of hassle when returning them to the dealer to have the issues fixed, they dont want to know. Even the Indian LML clones get a better write up than the new PX's these days. Even tho i would like a 946 for the same price i'd sooner buy a couple of nice restored 60's Vespas and i'd still have change left to pay my insurance for a couple of years.
Its not a real Vespa anyway if its not got gears :P
