OK, 9 miles on the odometer. My son followed me down to the school parking lot....
A problem: I couldn't see his car behind me. I'm a big guy, 6'3" , 250.
I think I need some kind of mirror extender (but doesn't look like my mirror post can do that) - or a mirror arm that is longer than my Like's 6 inches.
Any ideas?
(Sure would like to see what's coming up behind me....but these mirrors can't do that)
BTW: rec'd my nice Prima silver cover and the Bully alarmed wheel lock today - looks like good stuff.

There are two basic types of mirrors extensions: 1) to raise the up & 2) to move them outboard.
Some extensions do a bit of both.
My DH made the 2nd type himself from a 1" x 1/4" aluminum bar stock. Just cut to length and drill a hole at each end.
Bolt one end to the mirror mount and attach the mirror to the other end. You will need a few tools and
the appropriate metric bolts and nuts.
If you want height also, then check Ebay:

Purchased the alum. machined extensions - barely work with the plastic bodywork near the mirror mounts - and can't use the rubber weather seals. So will purchase those Italian extendo mirrors.

Kymco sells replacement ones, they look nice in carbon fiber.
