I am on a GV 250 and am looking at stepping up to more power... Anyone experience more than just the exciting?

Only with a used Burgman 400. I don't test drive, what i can't afford or otherwise don't plan to buy.
I preferred the Xciting, because I like his higher seat and stability (the old Burgi had 13" wheels). And of course I got a new Xciting for the same prive as an used Burgman.

We also have an 04 Aprilia Scarabeo 500GT. It is an excellent scoot. My wife rides it almost daily. Riding position is more comfy than the X500 for longer rides. I got to get the bars moved back a bit on my X500 (my arms are too short). It gets better gas mileage and has a bigger gas tank. Down side is it is "much" more sensitive to cross wind than the X500 and in my opinion does not handle as well in the curves. Seat is higher on the Scarabeo (was a tall for me, but wife is 5' 10" and has long legs, just right for her). Parts are more easily obtainable for the X500 where I live and are cheaper. Power is pretty close, the S500 has a little less HP, but weighs less as well. The 500GT model is no longer made by Aprilia and when I went looking for a scoot just for me I like the looks of the X500 and read a lot of good things about it. I am happy with the X500 and prefer to ride it. Wife has not ever rode the X500, don't think I want her to, I might lose it. ;)

Hey Winginman,
Concerning those bars, I have a similar problem and found risers on this website:

They also have pullback bars, but my dealer has them as well. My dealer showed me a couple of black risers which would be ok for under the shroud, but he wasn't sure where or what they came off of.
