Title: 2012 Vitality 50cc 2t derestricting
Post by: jellboy on April 16, 2013, 05:36:02 PM
Hi my name is Jonatan.
I have been searching for help/info on how to derestrict the vitality 2t 2012 model for a long time now.
I am unsure on how to do this properly but still cheap as i will be keeping the bike for 1year only.
CDI has 5 wires. would i also need to change something else in the scooter if i change/derestrict the cdi?

if anyone could just give me a link to what i should do or answer it would be most apreciated

Jonathan, the cdi mods are only for rev limiters broadly speaking.
I've derestricted two scooters today.
A Honda 2t 50cc
Was doing 33 mph now hits 45 mph

A lexmoto gladiator 4t 125cc
Was doing 55 mph
Now does 70 mph

These were quick derestricts. Both can no doubt be made to go faster.
No exhausts were removed and no cdi s touched.

Do a bit of reading on here.
You need, a bench grinder, a small selection of different roller weights and a permanent marker pen to derestrict any " twist and go" scooter
