Question for those with US spec DT. Is there a working bulb in the front turn signals and just the wiring needs to be reconnected or do I need to order bulbs. And if I have to order bulbs are they the same size as the rear turn signals?
As a side does anyone know what the fitment is for the liscense bulb? I want to replace that with a LED too.

This has been covered before when someone was modifying their bike. If I read this thread correctly (on page 3):

They are dummy bulbs. Not sure if you just need to install other bulbs or if they must also be wired into the system. If you look down about a dozen threads you will find a pdf format Downtown manual that should be of help.

The wiring diagram I have for the 300i shows those bulbs as "Position Lights" left and right for Italian models. US models apparently have "dummy bulbs" and may have the wiring behind them. Would look snazzy as blinkers!

I just did this to my 2012 People GTI300 last weekend. I just wired the exsisting sockets to the lower position lights. The wiring and sockets were there, but I had to buy the bulbs. I don't know if they are the same as the DT300.

I have a 2011 model DT. the lights are there , but both wires were grounded together,. I rewired to running lights,. if I think of it I will order LED lights for them,. it would be brighter ,.
