I just purchased a used 2008 Agility... very nice machine. Previous owner had already performed the variator boss and carburetor jet mods to squeeze out abou 36-38 MPH. But I wanted a little more so I discovered the mod where you "cut the wire" by cutting into the CDI module. Did this a couple days ago and got another 3-4 MPH out of the Scoot!
But now I wonder... do I need to use higher octane (89 or 93) fuel? Any danger to the engine by making this CDI box mod?
Thanks,

No need for a higher octane unless you increase compression ratio.
