I'm back in the saddle again after an almost 3 month layoff. I took a fall at work and injured my lower back, was out of commision for 3 months. I did start my scoot every week or 2 and she was no problem sitting a couple of weeks at a time.
Took her on the road today for the first time in 3 months and she didn't buck or buckle one bit, the front brake was noisy but that wore off after a few stops. Felt good being back on top, even if the back isn't 100% yet.
The thrill of the ride! Got to love it.

Glad to see you back with us 08 and glad to hear you are riding again.

Welcome back to the road 08,just in time for the Spring warm-up. The weather here in Oregon is 73 and sunny today. Ride on! 8)

Hit 55 degrees today and sunny - went out on the scooter for about 2 hours and she ran beautifully despite being out only 3 or 4 times since Thanksgiving. Started right up and ran smooth. I received a new modular helmet for Christmas and was finally able to ride long enough to start getting used to it.

Temps hit the high 50's maybe even low 60's today but I had a 150 mile trip I needed to make, so out of the garage came the Prowler! That was another nice feeling, after returning home I took my girls to the park with the top down, they loved looking up at the blue sky.
Thanks for the greetings, should be posting quite a bit more now that I'm feeling somewhat better, at least now I can sit upright.

Sorry to hear about the back injury putting you down for a spell, but it sounds like you are getting back to normal and enjoying a ride again.
If find riding to be good medicine. Sure is a good way to forget about things for a while.

Congrats on riding again. I started to ride again last week after 5 weeks of recovery from my cracked ribs.
