How do I find out how good/bad my battery is in...feels like it runs out of charge very quickly (after ~1 week days of not using it)
Also, any recommendations for batteries for the super 8 150?

Get the biggest and with the highest amp that will fit your compartment...

Thanks! I should mention I am noob when it comes to Voltage and Amps, so I don't know what the biggest and highest amp the super 8 150 can take/use?

The stock is 7ah, I changed mine to 9ah... similar dimensions except for the height. I don't know if dimensions differ with different brands.

You may want to take a look at the larger capacity YTZ10S (or TTZ10S) which has very slight dimension differences. I got one from a seller on Amazon. It fit fine, and was much cheaper than the orignal YTX7A-BS as well.

Thanks! there are different brands for YTZ10S (Yuasa $120 or TMS $25)....which one did you get then?

Got the cheaper TMS one from here:

It's worked well since I'd bought it last fall, and the most time it's gone without running/charging so far has been 3 weeks (from which the scooter started right up on return).

Just for info the number in the name is the amp hour.
IE YTZ10S = 10 amp hour.
You have to make sure a bigger one will fit. A place like this
http://www.batterystuff.com/batteries/motorcycle/ (http://www.batterystuff.com/batteries/motorcycle/)
shows the sizes. AGM is better than standard lead acid too. This refers to the physical construction
of the internals. AGM has fiberGlass Mat that the acid soaks into...

Thanks DoubleSC!
The suggested one by DoubleSC seems to fit fine as a)he is using it in his super 8 and b)measurements check out fine against the space in my scooter.
