Hello Gang, been out of touch for a while and just wanted to say
howdy-do to everyone.  Spring is getting here fast in East Tennessee
and I have some getting scooter ready to ride  work to get my lazy self involved in.
Hope everyone is healthy and ready to hit the highways and back roads.
If you pass me on the road wave and grin cause we both know we are having a ball.

Hi sir partyhut! Nice to hear from you! On this part of the world, even though summer is here, cold wind is still blowing from Siberia... it's a nice mix though... Hot sun and cold wind...

welcome partyhut. here in michigan is cold too the last few days I also have been working on my scoot to get it ready for the wormer days. just tuned it up but my carb is giveing me a hard time. this is the frist winter I let it sit with no gas in the carb or tank .

Forgive me for saying this, but spring is already here in Vegas. We did get some thunder showers today 3-8-13. Once the cold front passes through, temps will be climbing into the upper 70's to low 80's by the end of next week. The weather will be perfect for riding. BTW we just had the annual Vegas HighRollers Weekend Scooter Rally. Now this was a good time. March is the transition month here where we go from cold temps to nice temps. April is the perfect month for riding when the average high temp is in the 80's. Before you know it I will be wearing T-Shirts and shorts with sandals. Love it. Happy riding everyone. 8)

Hello, Well spring may be weeks away but Spring-like weather has come to western Oregon. I have been out there running the country back-roads on my Like 200i. I did the removal of the air restriction in the filter box and the throttle reponse is quite good. Top speed is still about 62mph but pickup in the mid range is great! It's nice to ride in the warm sun again...Len 8)

Partyhut,

Spring is still over the horizon here in Southern New England...we just had several inches of snow the last 2 days.  I did go out for an hour ride last weekend when the sun was out and the temp had hit 42.  My scoot had been sitting for aboiut 2 months and took a few tries before it would start.  Ran like a champ once I hit the road.  Temps are supposed to be in the 40's next week, but raining.  Oh well, should be able to ride semi-regularly by mid-April.
