Title: Replacement fairings?

Either a mean person or a strong wind knocked over my scooter last night! There is no obvious damage beyond the scratches on side and the truck.

I was wondering if anyone has ever replaced a damaged fairing and what the cost was. My housemate is a surfer and told me to fill and buff the scratches like he does with his surfboard. Good idea?

I think its mostly just the white paint off the drive that makes it noticeable. The trunk took a beating though.

Its hard to see in the photo but there is a 4 inch crack.

4 inch crack....   you can fill the crack with epoxy resin and place a nice sticker to cover the crack. Cheaper than having the whole thing repainted.

As to the white paint. Get a 2,000 grit waterproof sand paper and lightly sand off the white paint occasionally wetting the sand paper with water. When the white paint is gone, apply car wax to shine.

This place has a Fiche for the Like 200i but you have to send part numbers to them to get prices.
It's not clear how to choose the color either;
