Well my scoot has done 30.000km and still has the original oil !! no i want to hange it but have no idea on how to change the gear oil the manual looks like its been drawn by a 12 year old lol. Plus i broke a little housing on the air box its got a small piece of sponge in it no its leaking creamy looking oil is this a concern !
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not an expert but if that is oil that you see, get it out of your bike ASAP. I would change the oil, run it around the block and change it again.

Take a deep breath. It sounds like 3 or 4 questions.
1. How to change the engine oil ?
2. How to change the rear oil ?
3. Is a broken air box bad news ?
4. Is the whitish oil from the air box a concern ?
I'll try an answer or 2.
#4. The whitish oil is an emulsion of oil & water and is common in the winter.
Oil should be drained from the airbox periodically (frequency depends on a lot of factors)
#3. A hole in the airbox can be ok if the air is still being filtered before entering the carbs/fuel injectors.
Always best to patch the hole. Clean off the oil and use aluminum metal duct tape. Or work with plastic and epoxy.
I'll leave #1 & #2 to a rider that has a scooter like yours.

30,000 kms with the original oil???? :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o It should have been changed 29,700 kms ago.... I would sell that scoot...

Well was planning on doing the oil change this weekend but on the way home from work the bike finally give up and died on me made a funny noise lost power then died sounded just like the spark plug had come out but its not just turns over very easy and is making some un healthy sounds to me it sounds like the conrod is knoking about in the barell, checked the oil and surprise surprise there is none. would i possibly get away with top end rebuild or will the big end be gone also ?

I am so sorry for you. You said you had the original oil in it. Did you not read the owner's manual? I would look at getting a new bike since you said the oil was empty. Your gonna need a new engine as well. A few years back I had a car and the service people never put back the drain plug. The oil leaked out and my car just died. The service people told me it was the engine. I am not sure how much the kymco engines go for, but I bet with all the labor your looking at at least $500 to a $1,000 to get the bike up and running again. Gook luck friend.

30,000 km is a pretty good showing for a scoot so neglected. way to go, Kymco! :)
