I have a ngk coil on my scoot I got it last summer so far so good.Just wana ask how many times can you cut the wire back to reuse the coil. I notice the wire was geting worn out and had a little burn mark at the end of the wire. And also I started my scoot in the dark and seen a spark go across the top of the motor under the manafold why would this be.

You can cut them back until their too short!
I have heard of some bad plugs causing arcing to the motor, they open internally.
Other possibilities are anything that might allow the electricity to flow across the plug boot
(anti seize?) .

..blue, you have a loose ground wire somewhere...
..either in the coil or contact circuit, i'd bet....
..which wires are burning, because that is not normal...

all is good now. I cut the wire back and put in a new plug.
