Before I drive 300 miles to spend $250.00 on this 05 does anyone know of typical problems? I spoke with the owner and he said it just kinda stopped running one day and he doesn't have a clue. My Agility 125 did the same thing to me one time and it was the CDI that the dealer replaced under warranty. This unit has 14,000 miles on it. Any thoughts? Anyone?

There are no known issues. If it just stopped running it could be a lot of reasons. I have a friend with the same scooter as ours and he has over 30k on the odometer. They are known to be very reliable scooters.

Thanks Chris, now I just need to make room in my garage. BTW, how do you like your MS3-250? My Kymco dealer did such a great sell job on me about Kymcos I bought 2 and never looked back. The Agility 125s have been near perfect. Over 12,000 miles on both and just that one problem with mine. My dealer also sells the Hyrosung but never even showed me one. Just wondering if they are any good? Dealer support and repair parts? Any thoughts? I do see them on Craigs List but don't know anything about them. Just for something to do I buy good, cheap, non-running scooters, get them going and sell them for what I have in them. I'm not in it to make a profit just like getting my hands dirty. 2003 B&W with 47,000 miles. A few mechanical issues, minor. Love the bike. Now retired and giving a little life to my other B&W from time to time...

I have since sold my Hyosung and I miss it terribly. It is a very fast scooter. Parts are easy to get but it helps if you can do the work yourself. I rebuilt the engine and it was easy for me. I may buy another this year.

Chris, why on earth did you need to rebuild the engine?
-
My own stupidity. I initially bought the scooter in pieces and assembled it wrong and trashed the engine. Lesson learned.

My Road 700 & BMW 650GT! That's a lot of $$$. Do you still have both or did you sell one?

It's KM, but still impressive
