Title: Do these digital clocks work?

I just got my 2012 150cc Super 8 and although the digital closk is on, I cannot get the "set" button to do anything.  When I press the button on the left, it changes the display, but the right button does nothing.  I read the manual but am either doing somthing wrong or else I have a defective clock.  Anyone else experience this problem?

Press both buttons REAL HARD (preferably using both thumbs) at the same time for about 10 to 15 seconds or until the display flashes then set the time/date... This was my first challenge in my Super 8 when I got it.... good luck... ;)

The time adjustment button never worked on my Like. I do the reset around noon when needed. Then the clock will be right.
