Title: Replace Spark Plug
Post by: scootertwilight on June 30, 2009, 01:43:25 AM
I want to replace the spark plug on a Kymco People 50. I removed the plate in front of the seat . . Is the spark plug beneath  the rubber cap? I don't want to damage
anything. Please advise on how to remove or find the spark plug.

Thank you

yes just pull on the rubber cap and it pops off, underneath is the spark plug. to remove it you should have gotten a tool with your kit that looks like a long cilinder. it has a rubber ring inside to grip the plug. just slip on the cilinder and unscrew the plug. You wont break anything trust me ;). when you replaced you plug just press the rubber cap back on it.
Good luck!

No, you will need spark plug wrench. You can buy it anywhere for a few bucks.
